“There are more than 68 million dogs in the United States alone, and half of these pups belong to men. And because men
identify with their pets, the secret to sniffing out Mr. Right may be…his pooch.” Ya think?

* This one is from London and the write up tries to make it sound like this concept is some how unusual. I’ve posted about two or three different dog fragrances before here on GCS. And I’ve heard of many others. But click on the Mungo & Maud link below to watch a cute video about the casting for their promo.
Spoiler alert: Shirley gets the job. Even tho it looks like she only has one eye in the advert.
“A London store launched an eau de toilette for pampered pooches on Monday that costs 38 pounds ($78.60) for a 50ml glass bottle.
Upmarket pet shop Mungo & Maud hired perfumer Lyn Harris to create a fragrance exclusively for man’s best friend.
The result is “a gentle fragrance inspired by nature with notes of French blackcurrant, Tunisian neroli, mimosa and violet leaf on a base of sweet vanilla bourbon with a little almond”.
The shop’s creative director Nichola Sacher said she hoped the perfume, called Petite Amande, would “refresh the dog and appeal to the human nose”.

“Adopting turkeys, which can weigh more than 40 pounds and
have a penchant for pecking, is not like adopting a kitten or a puppy.”
